The Brief
An e-commerce camera store app stands out for its e-commerce service and offers the latest products at competitive rates. It is like a customer's own camera store where they can browse a variety of products of different competitive brands and get some amazing deals.
The Challenge
The language barrier is one of the biggest challenges that online eCommerce businesses face when catering to their worldwide clientele. So, It was challenging for us to implement RTL language support without compromising on the user experience.
Since blockchain could be a complicated subject to understand, most users may not be aware of its fundamentals. We needed to make sure that the right content and tools were available to assist in the user journey.
The Solution
We chose Swift 5 to develop the application and all e-commerce functionalities and features were implemented to enable seamless product exploration, comparisons, and purchase across different regions.
RTL Support
We provided RTL support for users across different geographies to browse the application and make purchases without any hassles in a language they are familiar with. The UI stayed the same despite the language selection.
Payment Integration
We integrated various payment methods and also added a wallet system, which allows the user to easily checkout and make payments without any hassles. The application also allows the user to create a personal profile, check out his previous purchases, monitor the delivery, share products with his friends or family through various networking platforms, and also manage his wishlist.
Product Comparison
The customer not only has thousands of products to choose from but at the same time has the option of comparing two similar products and choosing the one they want to buy. The user can see the product features and prices side by side and make their decision based on various parameters.
Design & Development
We created a responsive design that can be optimized depending on the device the user has. We utilized Swift 5 for the development of the app. SwiftUI, Apple's declarative UI framework was also used for creating a modern and efficient user interface. By focusing on both UI/UX design principles and Swift 5 development best practices, we were able to create a compelling and functional e-commerce app.
The Impact
Cam4Sell is considered the first Arab website to specialize in selling photographic tools and accessories in the Middle East. The app was featured in the Apple store as the best new app.
